Comprehensive Competitive Spending
When we come across an ad that we've seen before, we note each occurrence. Then we overlay our spending methodology to the combined occurrences. Our digital monitoring network is extremely fast. Most new commercials are uploaded to the Competitrack website within 24 hours of initial launch. And ongoing occurrences are available just a couple of hours after they air.

Based on a detailed review of each commercial, we integrate creative, occurrences and spending into a single package, providing a full picture of competitive activity. For every spending estimate, underlying creatives and occurrences are available. And a full media schedule is available for every creative.

Radio advertising is integrated with television and print at the product or campaign level. All creative executions in a category, whether running in TV, Radio or in Print, are reviewed by team of category specialists. Product names, campaigns and category classifications are assigned consistently across all media, providing reliable, accurate estimates of spending by product or campaign.

Competitrack offers custom tracking programs as well as industry-specific syndicated solutions. Key components of either approach include:
- FastTrack Reports, showing daily changes in media usage, spending and creative rotation.
- FastTrack Rollout Reports provide a way to monitor new campaigns as they roll out across the country. These reports can also be delivered weekly. Copies of new creatives accompany the reports.
- New Ad Alerts, identifying new creatives within 12 to 48 hours of first appearance. Creatives and associated media schedules may be downloaded from the Competitrack website.
- Media Activity Summaries, providing detailed media information for individual creatives. Updated every few minutes with the most recently available information, Media Activity Summaries may be downloaded directly from the Competitrack web site.
- Radio Category Reports, showing radio activity within a category or any predefined competitive set. Data can be subtoted by subcategory, advertiser, brand, product or campaign or even by individual creative. Reports show spending by daypart, station format, station and other variables. Reports and associated new creatives are delivered within 1 week of the close of a report period.
- Monthly Multi-Media Reports, showing spending across multiple media (television, print and radio) at the campaign, product, brand or advertiser level. These reports show how competitors are using radio as part of a broader media mix. Multi-media reports are typically delivered via DataView, end-user software that enables users to run their own queries against a predefined subset of the Competitrack database. Reports and associated creatives are delivered within 3 to 4 weeks after the close of a report period.
